Portmeirion Botanic Gardens Table Lamps
Portmeirion Botanic Gardens is recognised throughout the World as a British design classic. The Westlite table lamp range presents a selection of original Portmeirion floral illustrations. Using Portmeirion globe and canton vases manufactured exclusively for West Lite we have prepared a unique range of table lamps for your enjoyment.
Portmeirion founder Susan Williams-Ellis discovered a book of hand coloured floral illustrations and decided the eye-catching images would make the ideal basis for an innovative collection of dinnerware and cookware. The highly successful combination of individual floral illustrations on white ceramic shapes developed as Susan sourced more books. Butterfly motifs and in some cases a green leaf border were added to complete the compositions.
Now over 30 years since its inception Portmeirion Botanic Gardens continues to adorn homes throughout the world. With extensive ranges of dinner and cookware available it is now from West Lite you can complete your collection with our exclusive range of table lamps.

 | Tiffany Style Table Lamps and Lights
Our range of Tiffany Style lamps are one of the largest available. Using hand cut and ground coloured glass each piece is set in a copper lattice and moulded into the final shape. Every Tiffany Style shade is individual and a unique piece of handcraft. Shades range from 8" to 20" diameter and can be used as table lamps, floor stands, hanging pendants or ceiling mounted up-lighters. A number of Tiffany Style designs are available in several different sizes to enable matching sets to be configured.
Louis Comfort Tiffany was born in 1848 in New York to a manufacturer of fine jewellery. With craftsmanship learned from his father he began experimenting with surplus pieces of coloured glass from his stained glass window factory. From these early efforts beautiful mosaic lamps began to appear. Soon his new decorative art form, used to shield the relative harshness of the electric light bulb, became recognised worldwide.
Classic Tiffany designs remain ever popular such as dragonflies, flower blooms and many more. Indeed from the over 100 years of Tiffany history original lamps still exist and occasionally come onto the market.
